Director of Services & Lead Parent Aide

Beth is a KC Native. Her family struggled with barriers but were able to overcome them, together. She feels that by being together, surrounded by love each day, it helped her to become the person she is today. She has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Central Missouri in Child and Family Development and is currently working on her Masters of Social Work at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She plans to get her clinical license after graduation in May 2019. She has worked with in-risk children families since February 2013. Beth is passionate about parenting and the impacts it has on children, understanding developmental trauma, and helping families reach their goals. She started the agency in 2014, hoping to make a positive change for children and families with an emphasis on quality, strengths based skills. Beth recognizes, from her own obstacles that her family overcame, that other families can do the same. When she is not advocating for families, she spends her time with her family and friends, traveling, and trying new spots to eat in the KC scene.
